A treatise on an open letter to the king Friedrich Wilhelm IV of Prussia written by Bettina von Arnim, first published win 1843 in German in Berlin. The Letter deals with private real and fictional dialogues with the intension of showing up the reality in which the society of Prussia these days was. Bettina von Arnim appeals to the king's "genius" to act justly.
